Windows Mobile

While conducting your business, it is vital that you have easy and secure access to your e-mail, calendar, contact list and other data, wherever you are in the world, around the clock.

Windows Mobile gives you access to e-mail, calendars and contact lists through your mobile phone, allowing you to access information and data whenever you need it. You can work on files that are saved on your desktop computer, editing and updating them with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Windows Mobile connects to Síminn's e-mail server (Microsoft Exchange 2007) in a number of ways, including ActiveSync and Outlook Mobile Access (OMA).

  • ActiveSync - software that allows you to manage your e-mail, calendar and contacts through a mobile phone
  • OMA (Outlook Mobile Access) - allows you to manage all your information and data while you are travelling
