To activate your mobile for making calls

• Begin by dialling our interactive answering service on 1441 from your mobile phone. When the service answers, press 3
• Wait for the reply, then enter your 13 digit voucher PIN and press #.
• Your voucher PIN will be repeated for you to verify. If you have entered the wrong number, press 1 and try again. Press 3 if the number is correct. Your call credits will now be increased and the service will be activated
  

Please note: If you enter the wrong number three times, your call credits will not be increased. Dial the Service Desk on 800 7000 for help. After this, you can add call credits with a mobile voucher whenever you like, by following the instructions above. When your credit is used up, the call automatically cuts off. Credits last for six months.

Adding to your credits by credit card

If you want to add call credits to your phone, and charge them to your credit card, proceed as follows. Dial the Service Desk on 800 7000. When the service representative answers, ask to add to your call credits by charging the amount to your credit card. The transfer will be made after your credit card has been validated.

Adding to your credits using mobile vouchers

Vouchers are sold at Siminn retail outlets, Post Offices, many stores, petrol stations, snack bars and video rental shops all over Iceland. The number of sales outlets for vouchers is continually growing and you can always recognise them from the Frelsi sign they display. Further information about sales outlets is given by the Service Desk, tel. 800 7000. You add credits by calling our answering service, which is available 24 hours a day via 1441.

How to use the Answering Service:

• Dial 1441
• Press 1 to find out your call credits balance
• Press 3 to add call credits to your phone
• Wait for the reply, enter your 13 digit voucher PIN and press #.
• Your voucher PIN will be repeated for you to verify. If you have entered the wrong number, press 1 and try again. Press # if the number is correct. Your call credits will now be increased and the service activated.
